Valley Green Wedding FAQ

01.

How many can this location accommodate?

We have several rooms that you may use for your special occasions and celebrations:

  • The Magnolia Room, (lower level ) accommodates up to 120
  • The Four Seasons Room (upper level) accommodates up to 50 people
  • The Dining Room accommodates up to 100 people
  • The Patio accommodates up to 75 people
  • The Garden Pavilion accommodates up to 125 people

Is there a fee for your venue?

There is no fee for our venue; however, we do charge for the rental and usage of our rooms and outdoor spaces.

  • The Four Seasons Room rental fee is $250 for three (3) hours
  • The Magnolia Room, our lower level banquet room, rental fee is $500 for three (3) hours
  • The Patio rental fee is $300 for three (3) hours
  • The Garden Pavilion rental fee is $300 for three (3) hours
  • Extended time will be charged.

What are the hours of venue rental?

You have access to the venue the day of your wedding from 10:00a.m.-10:00p.m with wedding ceremony and reception being a total of 5 hours.

What time are vendors able to arrive for set up?

They are welcome to come as early as 10:00 a.m.

Are we allowed to use our own decorations?

Yes, we do have certain rules pertaining to decorating. Candles must be flameless, NO Confetti or Glitter allowed! If using Sparklers, they may be only used in a designated outside area and disposed in containers provided.

What is the policy for date selection?

A $1000 non-refundable deposit is required to save the date and must be paid by credit card, cashier’s check, or bank check. This will be applied to your final invoice. VGGC also requires that all banquet related functions sign a contract.

When am I required to pay the rest of my balance?

90 days prior to your wedding date you will need to pay an additional 50% of the estimate balance and the final payment will need to be paid thirty days prior to your event. Following your wedding we will provide you with a final invoice outlining all items billed on consumption, such as a hosted bar or signature drink counts or last-minute additional charges and will be due at the end of your event.

What is your cancellation policy?

The client must provide Valley Green Golf Course/Hogan's Bar & Grill with a minimum of 30 days notice for all cancellations. All cancellations before and up to that 30 days will result in the loss of the deposit. Cancellations within 29 to 15 days prior to the event will result in the client being responsible to pay 50% of the estimated costs of the event. Events cancelled within 14 days of the event will result in the client being responsible to pay 100% of the estimated cost of the event unless another financial arrangement between the two parties is agreed to in writing.

When do you need a guest count total?

Guaranteed guest count must be at least two weeks prior to your wedding day. After 14 days, counts may not be reduced. However, you may add to your guest count three business days prior to your event.

10.

Is a tasting included?

Absolutely, you and your partner are welcome to a complimentary entrée tasting to help you decide on a meal. Menu must be finalized at least six weeks prior to wedding day.

Is gratuity included?

No: however, it is typical to add 20 % gratuity for staff

12.

What‘s your weather contingency plan for outside space?

Your ceremony would be outside under the pavilion however, if it is severe weather, we can move the ceremony indoors.

13.

Can we bring in our cake?

Yes, you may bring your own cake and we will cut and serve it at no extra fee.
